We operate organized tours, car rental and we can also offer luxury apartments in the centre of Reykjavik. Our company is fully licenced and approved by the Icelandic authoritites.

Why should you choose Nicetravel?

Our motto is to be nice. In our tours the maximum size of the group is usually 15 passangers so we are able to give a personal service to all our costumers.

What is included in your tours?

We offer pickup and drop off for all major hotels and guest houses in Reykjavik, round trip transportation and professional tour guides.

Where is Nicetravel located?

Our office is in Hverfisgata 88 in the center if Reykjavik..

What should I take with me on your tours?

You should take the most basic personal belongings with you for our day tours. For our longer tours we will get a list of things that you need to bring after booking the tour.

What languages do your offer on your tours?

All our tours are in English but we can also offer tours for groups in addional languges –for example Scandinavian languages, French, German and Spanish

What should I wear on your tours?

Weather in Iceland is changing all the time. For tours in Iceland during summer, bringing a light rain jacket is in most cases enough protection. For winter season, warm jacket, good walking shoes, cap or a hat and gloves are essential accessories to combat cold weather.

How does pick up and drop off work?

You should be ready in front of hotel or house 30 minutes before scheduled departure of their tour
Your electronic tickets and e-mail voucher contain detailed information on pick up and drop off.

Are meals included in your tours?

Meals are not included in tours unless specifically stated in tour description, but stops are frequent where passengers can buy light meals and refreshments.

What are your pick up locations?

Hotels and larger guest houses in Reykjavik area
Returning from tours passengers are dropped off at the hotels or guest houses they were collected from, or at the nearest possible location.

How will I receive my tickets?

After finishing the booking process there will be an electronic ticket on your screen that you can print out. You will also receive an e-mail with a voucher that you can print out.

How can I pay for my booking?

We accept all major credit cards and payments by electronic bank transfer.

What if one of my scheduled day tours is cancelled due to weather conditions?

If a scheduled day tour is cancelled by the tour operator due to poor weather conditions, we can arrange for you to go on the tour on a different day. If that does not work with your schedule, we can also offer an alternative activity at no additional cost or give you a full refund.

How is the creditcard payment process

We charge the full amount of your tour(s) at the same time as the booking and you will be informed by email when your creditcard has been charged.

Do you offer a discount for children?

In most cases there is a discount for children, although the exact amount depends on the age of the child and the specific day tour. You can find the children’s rates in the tour description

What happens if I need to change or cancel my day tour?

Please contact us  as soon as possible if you must change or cancel your day tour(s). In most cases, we are able to offer a full refund as long as we receive your cancellation request within two weeks.
